We're looking for a Volunteer (or 2) to lead on research, planning and execution of fundraising activities in the Tain and district area! We're looking for someone who can coordinate a team of fundraisers with the support of the Fundraising Hub.

You will lead a team of fundraising Volunteers to carry out your planned activity out in the community and online. You\'ll enrich their skills, ensure all policies and procedures are followed, and show exemplary community engagement to reach wider audiences.

What will you be doing?

As a charity we are able to help thousands of cats each year thanks to the generous donations we receive from members of the public. Our fundraising team leaders have the exciting and varied role of inspiring our fundraising volunteers to plan and deliver local fundraising events. Using their passion and imagination, they oversee a small team of fundraising volunteers who come together to raise the vital funds needed to cover costs such as veterinary bills and food. Our fundraising team leaders support their team of volunteers in all aspects of their roles, making sure our volunteers are happy, confident and supported.

What can you expect to be doing?

• Supporting and encouraging a team of fundraising volunteers
• Planning fundraising events and activities with your team
• Allocating tasks before and during fundraising events
• Creating and building annual fundraising activity planning
• Liaising with the local Community Fundraising Hub
• Keeping financial records from fundraising events and sharing with internal stakeholders
• Encouraging and promoting a professional image of Cats Protection
• Following policies and guidelines and ensuring licenses and permits are obtained for events (i.e. Health & Safety, Data Protection, Safeguarding, etc.)
