Catering Assistant

6 month fixed term contract

Location: Pontefract

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 1pm to 7pm, 30 hours per week.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Crafting eye-catching food and counter displays that draw customers in
• Proudly representing Eurest and embodying our positive brand image
• Handling transactions with ease and operating the cash register efficiently
• Upholding the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene
• Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Health & Safety regulations and accurately reporting any hazards, incidents, or near misses
• Encouraging customer feedback and helping to gather responses through our company’s short satisfaction surveys, ensuring we continue to deliver great service experiences
• Taking accurate recordings of stock and ensuring stock is labelled where required
• Recording and reporting food wastage in line with company procedures to support sustainability goals
• Proactively promoting and upselling products where appropriate to enhance the customer experience and drive sales
• Assist with any other task as requested by your manager
