Job summary

A leading youth services charity in Southampton is seeking a Children and Young People’s Family Counsellor to support positive family relationships through therapeutic counselling. The role involves delivering counselling services and developing family counselling provisions for children and young people. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant professional qualification and have supervised clinical practice experience. Qualifications

  • Professional qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable supervised clinical practice in family and systemic work.
  • Flexible approach for working across Hampshire, Southampton, and Portsmouth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver family counselling and therapeutic interventions.
  • Manage a caseload of children, young people, and families.
  • Contribute to development of family counselling provision.
