Job summary

A compassionate care provider in Exmouth is seeking a Support Worker to assist clients with daily living activities and transportation needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills. Full training is offered for candidates passionate about making a difference in clients' lives. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Qualifications

  • Experience is highly desirable, but not essential, as full training is given.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • A valid driver’s licence is preferred for transporting clients when needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition according to their dietary needs.
  • Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities as required. Mileage will be paid.
  • Monitor and document clients’ health conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in recreational programmes to enhance their quality of life.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
  • Assist with case management tasks, coordinating services and resources for clients as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
