A local government authority in England is seeking a Democratic Services Officer to join its Elections and Democratic Services team. An exciting opportunity to work as a Democratic Services Officer as part of the Elections and Democratic Services team at the heart of Amber Valley Borough Council’s decision‑making process.
Previous experience of working within a Democratic Services environment is required for the Grade 5 post but not for the Grade 4, Trainee post as full training and support will be provided.
The post involves an interesting range of duties, primarily in relation to servicing the Authority’s regulatory committees, but the post‑holder will need to be adaptable and flexible, as there is a requirement to cover other areas of work from time to time.
