Job summary

A leading technical solutions provider in Scotland is seeking a Facilities Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of a school environment. Responsibilities include carrying out maintenance, inspections, and repairs, while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, experience in a maintenance role, and a flexible approach to teamwork. Benefits include generous annual leave and private medical insurance. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the school in line with occupancy times.
  • Carry out internal and external building inspections.
  • Complete non-specialist repairs as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.

Skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Understanding of safe working practices and health & safety legislation
Ability to work independently
Well organised, with the ability to prioritise workload
Flexible approach to working as part of a team
Previous experience in a maintenance environment
Experience in a Facilities or Maintenance Technician role
