Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Manchester seeks a confident and professional individual to lead business development efforts. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, enhancing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to meet client requirements. The role involves networking at industry events and utilizing your strong commercial mindset to drive results. Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within a manufacturing or large scale project environment.
  • Background in retail fit-out, commercial interiors, exhibitions or a closely related sector.
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and representing the business externally.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, develop and secure new business opportunities.
  • Attend, present and network at exhibitions and industry events.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships from initial concept through to sales enquiry.
  • Understand client briefs and translate requirements into commercially viable manufacturing solutions.
  • Work closely with internal design, production and project teams.
