Overview

Trust Compliance Officer

Full Time – 37 hours per week. 52.143 weeks per year. Salary: Band 8 SCP 19-23 ranging from £32,061 to £34,434. Excellent benefits package including 32 days annual leave plus bank holidays, Local Government Pension Scheme, Cycle to Work Scheme and access to a range of retailer discounts through schemes including Blue Light Card.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen compliance and governance support within the Education Village Academy Trust.
• Implement compliance requirements, policies and controls, with knowledge of how to service meetings.
• Provide strong administration and project support to governance and compliance activities.

Qualifications and requirements

• Experience in compliance and governance is required; sector experience is not essential, but a passion for making a difference to the lives of children and young people is important.
• Ability to contribute to coaching, training and potential formal training opportunities.
• Experience in the education sector is not essential; the role prioritizes commitment to our mission and the ability to deliver credible compliance support.
