An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Endoscopy Booking Administrator.
The Booking Administrator has responsibility with the rest of the team to contact patients to book their procedures and manage our waiting lists thus ensuring that our patients are booked within local and national targets.
Endoscopy is a busy and fast-moving service with many patients visiting us each day.
You will be diligent in delivering and maintaining an administrative service within the Endoscopy Department and to all its users (patients, relatives and colleagues).
You will be responsible for the bookings of both diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures.You will make these bookings in a timely manner to ensure all national and local targets are met (including the cancer pathway). You will be responsible for sending pre-procedure preparation to a select cohort of patients.
You will be cancelling and amending Endoscopy Lists as directed by the Endoscopy Coordinator and to assist the Coordinator with clinic capacity demands.
