A leading Wholesale/Distribution company in Belfast is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Officer for a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will champion safety, wellbeing, and sustainability, shaping a positive safety culture. You'll carry out risk assessments and lead compliance training to meet ISO standards. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of HS&E legislation, be a confident communicator, and possess a driver's license. This role is based in Carrickfergus and Newtownards.

• Confident communicator who can influence and engage at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to for managers on all HS&E matters.
• Shape and promote a positive safety-first culture.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure lessons learned turn into action.
• Lead internal audits and support external ones.
• Keep policies up to date with legislation.
• Own compliance training and deliver in-house sessions.
• Support Sustainability Action Plan with fresh ideas.
