A leading sports and gaming company is seeking a Player Protection Specialist in Stoke-on-Trent to review member accounts for signs of harm. Responsibilities include assessing risks, interacting with members, and applying player protection policies. The role offers hybrid working after a probation period, focusing on ensuring safer gambling practices. Ideal candidates are skilled in investigative analysis and effective communication, with a strong passion for supporting vulnerable members.
Salary: £28,080
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, shifts are between Monday - Sunday, 8am - 11pm. While weekend shifts appear in most weeks, the rota is structured to include lighter weeks with additional days off, ensuring the overall pattern remains manageable.
Office based for the 4 month probation and training period, hybrid working available after successful completion (2 days in the office per week).
The main role of the Player Protection Specialist is to review members\' accounts and activities for signs of harm and concern, carry out appropriate risk management for members and liaise directly with members showing a high level of concern to carry out interventions.
