We are seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Project Manager to lead the end–to–end delivery of MOPAC's major office relocation programme. This is a high–impact role requiring senior–level stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, operational leadership, and expert delivery oversight.
You will work directly with the Chief Executive, Board, and senior leadership team, influencing the future of the workplace environment and ensuring a seamless transition to our new office location.
This role is perfect for a strategic, resilient, and highly organised leader with deep experience in complex workplace moves, fit–outs, and corporate real estate projects.

Key Responsibilities
Workplace Strategy & People Needs
- Lead and coordinate Heads of Terms discussions with the landlord and present proposals to the MOPAC Board.
- Define service levels for MOPAC's new office space.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand space, layout and employee requirements.
- Ensure the final layout supports collaboration, productivity and wellbeing.
- Implement flexible and hybrid working models aligned to MOPAC's aspirations.
Fit–Out & Technical Infrastructure
- Oversee the complete office fit–out, including procurement of furniture and equipment.
- Ensure IT, AV, and hybrid–working technologies fully meet organisational needs.
- Guarantee all systems and equipment are installed, tested and operational.
Finance & Budget Management
- Monitor all programme expenditure and ensure fees and charges are paid promptly.
- Manage budgets covering landlord costs, service charges, and design/fit–out fees.
- Ensure value for money across all project phases.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and manage strong relationships with external partners including TfL, GLA, VRU, contractors and suppliers.
- Represent MOPAC in key negotiations and partnership discussions.
- Maintain continuous and clear communication with senior leadership.

Operational Transition & Move Management

- Ensure all systems, infrastructure and facilities are operational on day one.
- Oversee post–move assurance, evaluation, snagging and continuous improvements.
Strategic Leadership & Governance
- Provide full end–to–end programme leadership, ensuring clear visibility of plans, risks and decision points.
- Deliver evidence–based recommendations to senior leaders.
- Align relocation strategies to MOPAC's long–term goals and culture.
Post–Move Monitoring
- Lead post–move assurance processes, feedback collection, snagging resolutions and business continuity reviews.
- Ensure full handover of documentation and learning to the relevant ongoing office manager.
General Responsibilities

About You
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering large–scale office relocations or workplace transformation programmes.
- Strong background in programme/project management, facilities, or corporate real estate.
- Skilled in working with landlords, architects, contractors and fit–out specialists.
- Knowledge of workplace strategy, hybrid–working and space–planning principles.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing multi–million–pound budgets.
- Excellent senior stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
- Sound understanding of H&S, compliance, accessibility and sustainability.
- Hands–on approach to operational delivery and problem solving.
- Experience embedding ED&I principles in workplace projects.
