Job summary

A major cricket club in the UK is seeking a Performance Analyst for the 2nd XI and Academy team. The role focuses on filming, coding, and analyzing matches, assisting with performance-related databases, and providing post-match feedback. Ideal candidates will have robust knowledge of cricket, excellent communication skills, and relevant qualifications. Flexible working hours around cricket fixtures are expected during the April to September 2026 season.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
  • Good time management is crucial for this role.
  • Candidates should have excellent IT skills, ideally in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead filming and coding of all home 2nd XI fixtures.
  • Set up and maintain analytical equipment at 2nd XI grounds.
  • Provide post-match analysis at coaching staff's request.

Excellent communication and organisational skills
Good time management
Excellent IT skills
Extensive knowledge of domestic and international cricket
Experience setting up cameras for live sport
Experience using PCS Pro
Experience using Data visualisation tools
Fully clean driving license and access to a car

Education

Undergraduate qualification in sports performance analysis or a relevant sports degree
Undergraduate qualification in a mathematics or statistics related degree
Relevant performance analysis experience
