The Clinical Team Leader has delegated responsibility for the management of the clinical areas including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs of care and the setting of standards on a shift basis and in the authorised absence of the Deputy Matron.
The Clinical Team Leader will support the Deputy Matron in the management of the ward team. In conjunction with the Deputy Matron, the Clinical Team Leader will be responsible for promoting an environment conducive to individuals and teams to develop ensuring the delivery of high standards of patient care in line with clinical governance.
The Clinical Team Leader will be easily identifiable, accessible and a key figure to whom patients and their families can turn to for assistance, advice, and support. To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of care to the patient undergoing medical treatment. You will be responsible for the assessment of patients care needs and for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
