Job summary

A leading healthcare facilities management organization is seeking an Estates Coordinator for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract at Edgware Hospital. Role details

We have a 12‑month Fixed Term Contract opportunity for an Estates Coordinator, based at Edgware Hospital, a large and busy 24/7 acute and mental health site with a wide range of services and ongoing improvement projects. Although advertised as an FTC, there is the potential for longer term extension.

Salary on offer is from £30,000 and a 10% performance-based bonus.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a visible and proactive presence across your allocated buildings
  • Providing excellent face‑to‑face customer service to clinical teams, service users and contractors
  • Supporting day‑to‑day FM operations, compliance checks and reactive works
  • Coordinating contractors and assisting with project activity (with up to 29 live projects onsite)
  • Ensuring clear communication, timely updates and effective issue resolution
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to a safe, efficient hospital environment

This role is fully site‑based and requires someone confident, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, demanding healthcare setting.

Where you'll be

Edgware Community Hospital

This is a single‑site role based entirely on the hospital campus. Travel to other sites could be required.

What we're looking for
  • Proactive, visible and eager to "get out from behind the desk"
  • A strong communicator with excellent customer‑facing skills
  • Confident working in a busy environment with competing pressures
  • Organised, reliable and keen to learn
  • Comfortable in a technical/FM setting
  • Driving Licence is essential
Experience required
  • Background in Facilities Management (essential)
  • Experience on a large or complex site is highly desirable
  • Mobile FM experience considered if committed to a fully site‑based role
  • Experience in using CAFM and compliance systems
  • Graduates considered where personality, capability and drive are strong
