A residential care organization is seeking a Residential Team Leader in Weymouth, Dorset. In this pivotal role, you will provide individualized care to children aged 5-17 in a supportive environment, catering to their needs. Your responsibilities will include helping children with daily routines, school tasks, and developing the team. Ideal candidates must hold Level 3 qualifications and possess a Full UK Driving license. The position offers 39 hours of work per week, training opportunities, and a supportive team culture.
We are recruiting for a Residential Team Leader to join our home in Weymouth, Dorset.
Our homes cater for Children aged 5 – 17 on admission. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.This role is based in asolo placement home, offering a unique opportunity to provide focused, individualised care.

Your role as residential Team Leader will be varied and interesting while following a planned structure, so you know what to expect. You will support our young person to learn healthy routines, take them to appointments, help with schooling, complete household tasks, and update current electronic records. As a team leader, you will also be supporting the leadership team in developing the newer members of our team, taking part in supervision and career development.
We aim to ensure our children are safe, well-parented, and raised in a happy home where they can flourish, learn, and give back the childhood they deserve. We create positive memories through laughter, fun, and love to help reduce challenging behaviours by teaching better ways to cope.
Our practitioners are experienced in working with children who have been traumatised by their past and understand the impact that parental rejection has on emotional development and needs.

You must hold your Level 3 to be eligible for this role
Hours
On average, 39 hours a week, which typically includes two sleep-ins per week, for which you receive an additional £50 payment per sleep-in.
