Job summary

A leading NHS Mental Health Trust seeks a Consultant Psychiatrist in CAMHS to provide expert assessments and clinical management for children and young people. Qualifications

• Ability to reflect on own performance and seek feedback.
• Experience in clinical research and service evaluation.
• Must be able to achieve Approved Clinician Status and Section 12 Status within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health assessments and holistic care plans for patients.
• Conduct psychiatric opinions and diagnosis for patients up to 18 years of age.
• Manage clinical supervision and maintain Section 12 approval.

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification

Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
