Job description

At Eaton, we are dedicated to improving quality of life and protecting the environment through power management technologies that are reliable, efficient, safe, and sustainable. As a global leader in power management solutions, our mission is to help customers manage power today while building a better world for tomorrow.

Within Eaton’s Industrial Division, we design and deliver innovative products and technologies that enable manufacturing excellence, advanced automation, intelligent motion, and safer, more efficient industrial operations. Our teams operate in complex, fast‑paced environments where engineering, digitalization, and operational excellence come together to drive meaningful impact.

Joining the Industrial Division means becoming part of a diverse and collaborative workforce committed to solving real‑world challenges, accelerating innovation, and supporting our customers across EMEA and globally. Here, you will contribute to a purpose‑driven organization that invests in people, fosters an inclusive and continuously improving culture, and empowers employees to grow, lead, and make a difference.

We are currently looking for a Talent & Organizational Effectiveness Manager, who will serve as a strategic advisor to the Industrial Sector Presidents, HRDM, and their leadership teams. This role is responsible for developing, aligning, and delivering an integrated talent and organizational effectiveness strategy that addresses the unique challenges and priorities of the business.

The position can be based preferably at our Turin (Italy) office, or alternatively in Budapest (Hungary), Champagné (France), or Titchfield (United Kingdom).

What You’ll Do
Drive Talent Management
  • Lead the talent strategy and supporting processes to attract, develop, engage, and retain key talent across the Industrial Sector.
  • Oversee performance development and succession management practices, including talent reviews and Eaton’s annual Organization Capability Assessment (OCA) for EMEA. Partner with leaders to build action plans and track progress to strengthen the talent pipeline.
  • Lead the regional Top Talent strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business and sector priorities.
  • Measure and track talent outcomes, including development plans and actions tied to specific leadership and capability development programs.
  • Develop strategies to build organizational capability through stretch assignments, career moves, experiential learning, special projects, executive coaching, feedback initiatives, and development programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, develop, and accelerate the readiness of early‑career talent across the sector.
Lead Organizational Effectiveness
  • Conduct organizational assessments and diagnostics to identify leadership, team, and organizational development needs. Determine root causes and implement effective structural or process solutions to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert in Organizational Assessment and Design (OAD), enabling leaders to make informed, data‑driven decisions.
  • Drive the Industrial Sector’s Inclusion & Diversity strategy by embedding I&D principles into leadership behaviors, management practices, and organizational processes.
Focus on Culture
  • Lead and coordinate culture and engagement initiatives informed by employee listening mechanisms, including onboarding, engagement (census and pulse), and exit surveys. Establish clear measures and accountability to drive continuous improvement based on employee feedback.
  • Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, influencing key decisions related to talent, development, organizational effectiveness, and culture across Eaton.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Organizational Development or Human Resources, with proven expertise in talent management, leadership development, and capability‑building initiatives. Experience working within large, multinational manufacturing organizations and navigating complex matrix structures.
  • Background in plant, operations, supply chain (SCM), or continuous improvement (CI) environments is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, drive organizational change, and deliver integrated talent and OE strategies across diverse business contexts. Strong analytical, consulting, and communication skills, with the ability to translate organizational needs into actionable, scalable solutions.
Skills
  • Fluent English required; Italian or French is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective OD and talent strategies that support business performance.
  • Experience coaching and influencing leaders at all levels and developing talent pipelines.
  • Strong capability to recruit, assess, and develop high‑potential talent.
  • Effective collaborator with experience working across multiple organizational levels and functions.
  • Solid analytical skills, using data and metrics to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Confident in presenting to senior leadership and communicating complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience in coaching, organizational design, change management, or similar disciplines (certifications a plus).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills.
