Job summary

A leading independent aerospace and industrial forger in the UK is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team. This role involves working the rotating 2 shift pattern, focusing on planned preventative maintenance, installation of new equipment, and reactive maintenance. Candidates should be apprentice-trained with NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering, possess knowledge of safety systems, and have experience in fault finding and preventative maintenance. Qualifications

  • Apprentice trained maintenance engineer with electrical bias.
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Good knowledge of safety and permit to work systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Installation of new plant equipment.
  • Planning electrical maintenance tasks for shutdown.
