📝 Reports to: Marketing Director
👫 Team: Marketing
🌍 Location: Holborn, London
📝 Contract type: Permanent
Who We Are:
At Omaze, we give our community in the UK and Germany the chance to win luxury homes and other life‑changing prizes — all while raising money for the causes they love.
Thanks to our Omaze Community, we’ve raised over £100 million for UK charities in just five years. That’s millions helping organisations like Age UK, the RSPCA, British Heart Foundation and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity deliver life‑saving work.
And the best part? We’re only just getting started. Omaze is building a business and culture committed to growth and creating significant social impact on a global scale.
The Production Lead is the operational heartbeat of Omaze’s creative output — a master of process, precision, and people leadership. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role ensures every piece of content — from large‑scale TV campaigns to fast‑turnaround social assets — is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative standard.
This is a senior operational role that blends strategic oversight with hands‑on execution. The Production Lead will design the systems, structures, and culture that enable world‑class creative delivery at scale — balancing efficiency with excellence, and fostering strong collaboration between our in‑house teams and external partners.
Critically, this role will also spearhead the development of Omaze’s in‑house production capabilities, beginning with post‑production and editing, and advising on the optimal balance between internal resources and external agency support.
Own the end‑to‑end delivery of all marketing content across TV, digital, social, PR, and branded storytelling.
Build and implement production systems that ensure deadlines are met, budgets are controlled, and creative standards remain exceptional.
Develop best‑in‑class processes for planning, scheduling, and resource management — ensuring clarity, accountability, and operational consistency across all projects.
Act as the senior point of escalation for production challenges, providing decisive, calm, and solutions‑oriented leadership.
Manage and mentor the internal production function, including direct reports such as the Senior Production Manager and junior team members.
Establish a culture of learning and growth, developing future leaders through coaching, upskilling, and structured feedback.
Champion collaboration across creative, brand, and social teams — ensuring production is a trusted and empowering partner within the wider marketing ecosystem.
Oversee all production budgets with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality.
Lead negotiations and relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies to secure the best creative and financial outcomes.
Introduce systems for cost tracking, forecasting, and performance reporting to enable data‑driven production decisions.
Ensure that all freelance partners have adequate framework agreements and statements of works in place for every project.
Define and evolve Omaze’s long‑term production strategy — identifying which elements should be built in‑house and which are best delivered through agency or freelance partners.
Implement scalable workflows, tools, and templates to future‑proof operations and support growth.
Evaluate performance, continuously refining processes to deliver faster, smarter, and more creatively ambitious work.
Design and implement Omaze’s in‑house post‑production function, initially focused on editing and agile content delivery.
Assess internal skill gaps and recruit or train to build sustainable, high‑performing in‑house expertise.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to pilot low‑lift, high‑impact content formats that extend brand storytelling beyond campaign delivery.
Lay the groundwork for a future in‑house studio producing original, brand‑led formats for channels like YouTube.
10+ years’ experience in senior production or operations leadership roles across agencies, media, or brand environments.
Proven track record in delivering complex creative projects — on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Deep experience managing production budgets, timelines, and multi‑stakeholder relationships with confidence and rigour.
Exceptional organisational and problem‑solving skills, with a systems‑driven mindset and passion for operational excellence.
Strong understanding of both agency and in‑house production models, with experience evolving or hybridising teams and workflows.
Inspiring leader who coaches, mentors, and elevates others — creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and pride in craft.
Calm under pressure, proactive in communication, and relentlessly focused on continuous improvement.
