A leading engineering firm in the UK is looking for an Entry Level Electrical Vehicle Technician in Walsall. This role involves installing and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles used for emergency services, ensuring public safety. As a Entry Level Electrical Vehicle Technician you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll begin your career within one of the UK’s most respected defence, aerospace, and engineering organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how to install, integrate, and maintain enhanced electrical systems in specialist vehicles used by the Police, Fire, and Ambulance services. Your work will help ensure these vehicles operate reliably in critical situations, supporting public safety across the UK.
Please note that this position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
The role is based onsite at Walsall, and the set working times are Monday to Friday with either a 7am or 8am start, totalling 39 hours per week. You’ll benefit from an early finish every Friday at either 1pm or 2pm, depending on your start time.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV security clearance for this role.
