The role will define how talent is identified, assessed, and experienced across regions, ensuring methods are fair, evidence-based, and aligned to TBI’s values and employee value proposition.This role will bring rigour and clarity to a complex assessment landscape, introducing psychometrics and other high-quality, tech-enabled assessment methods where they add real value. Beyond tools and processes, the post holder will shape the quality of candidate and employee experience, ensuring assessment supports strong hiring decisions, organisational growth, and TBI’s reputation as a professional and credible employer. Working closely with the Talent Manager and Talent Acquisition Partners, the role combines specialist expertise with influence, system-building, and practical delivery.**Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK to apply for this role.****Key Responsibilities*** Accountable for the design, quality, and continuous improvement of TBI’s global assessment framework, ensuring consistent standards across regions while allowing for appropriate contextual flexibility.* Accountable for introducing and embedding evidence-based, skills-focused assessment methods, including psychometrics and other tools, ensuring ethical, inclusive, and high-quality application.* Champion a tech-enabled approach to assessment, reducing over-reliance on traditional interviews and introducing scalable, modern solutions that improve decision quality and time to hire.* Responsible for leading assessment activity for all hires, including early careers, pipelines, and experienced hires, ensuring consistency and fairness across recruitment processes.* Responsible for supporting hiring managers with role scoping, competency design, and interview capability, strengthening confidence and consistency in hiring decisions.* Use assessment insight and recruitment data to identify trends, improve candidate experience, and contribute to improved quality of hire and hiring efficiency.* Work collaboratively with the Talent Manager to contribute to succession planning, early careers approaches, and long-term talent pipeline development.* Own the development of clear guidance, tools, and capability building for recruiters and hiring managers in the effective use of assessment methods.* Demonstrate ambition by modernising assessment practice, benchmarking against leading organisations, and ensuring TBI’s approach remains credible, inclusive, and future-focused.**Person Specification*** Strong knowledge and experience in talent assessment, with hands-on experience designing and implementing assessment frameworks in complex or global organisations.* Proven expertise in psychometrics and evidence-based selection methods, with a clear understanding of their strengths, limitations, and ethical application.* Experience introducing tech-enabled or scalable assessment solutions and reducing reliance on unstructured or low-signal selection methods.* Strong facilitation, coaching, and capability-building skills, particularly with hiring managers and interviewers.* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge inconsistent or low-quality assessment practices constructively.* Strong understanding of candidate experience, employer branding, and the role assessment plays in organisational reputation.* Mindset oriented towards evidence, fairness, and long-term organisational capability, not just process compliance.**We reserve the right to close this role early if we receive a sufficient number of applications.**Closing Date:2026-02-27locations: United Kingdomtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Today# **We don’t just talk, we do.
