Job summary

A leading social care provider is seeking a PBS Practitioner in Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire to implement and monitor Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) interventions for adults with complex needs. Ideal candidates will have postgraduate qualifications in ABA or PBS, alongside specific experience in trauma-informed care and leadership. The role offers 37.5 hours of work per week with a competitive salary of £32,500 to £41,000, plus additional benefits including training, development opportunities, and generous leave allowances.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate diploma, MSc, MA in either ABA or PBS required.
• Experience in trauma informed care and PBS informed service is essential.
• Must have evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor PBS interventions across the region.
• Support adults with complex needs and ensure their welfare.
• Engage regularly with Lead Behaviour Analyst and report on KPIs.

Skills

Knowledge of trauma informed care

Experience of working and delivering highly specialist PBS interventions

Excellent leadership skills

Ability to direct teams

Education

Postgraduate diploma, MSc, MA in either ABA or PBS

BTEC Level 4 or Level 5 Diploma in PBS
