Job summary

A prominent community care organization in Scotland is looking for a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) Specialist Practitioner. This full-time role involves working with multi-disciplinary teams and implementing effective Positive Behaviour Culture across the South of Scotland. Candidates must hold a Level 5 PBS Qualification, have experience with individuals with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, and possess excellent communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum one year working PBS experience is essential.
  • Extensive experience of reducing restrictive practices.
  • Knowledge of care standards and social care legislation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Strategic PBS Lead in developing a Positive Behaviour Culture.
  • Conduct behaviour assessments within a Positive Behaviour Support Framework.
  • Facilitate training, workshops, and teaching for adult learners.

Skills

Level 5 PBS Qualification
Experience with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism
Behaviour assessment skills
Training and workshop delivery
Excellent writing and communication skills

Education

Level 6/7 or ABA qualification
