Overview

Are you looking to start or grow your career in finance with a company that genuinely invests in you? We are excited to be recruiting for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our client's growing team in Ramsgate.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business where your role will develop as you do. You will work closely alongside the Head of Accounts, gaining hands-on experience and full training while building a long-term career within the company.

Due to our location, applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own transport.

What You\'ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the day-to-day finance and account's function
  • Maintaining accurate financial and company records
  • Assisting with basic bookkeeping (full training provided)
  • Liaising with multiple departments across the business
  • Using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Working with accounting software such as Sage 50 or Zero
What We\'re Looking For
  • Previous office-based experience is desirable
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths at Grade 6 or above
  • Basic bookkeeping or record-keeping experience is desirable
  • A friendly, confident communicator with great interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 or Zero would be an advantage
  • Someone who can work independently, take initiative and be trusted to get on with the job
  • Not afraid to ask questions and keen to learn
  • Brings a positive, innovative and proactive attitude
