A support services provider in Poole is looking for a female support worker to join their adult services team. You will assist a young gentleman with personal care, medication, and daily activities, ensuring he feels safe and comfortable. The ideal candidate will be patient, calm, and have a Full UK manual driving licence along with access to a vehicle. This part-time position requires 25.5 hours a week, including shifts from 7 am to 10 pm. The role starts in March 2026 and offers competitive benefits.

To be considered for this role you must hold a Full UK manual driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Myles lives independently in his own home in Poole. He communicates both verbally and through visual aids such as PECS cards, signs and gestures, giving him his own unique way of sharing his thoughts and preferences.
He enjoys a range of activities, such as:
Myles receives 1:1 support and relies on his support staff. He requires assistance with personal care, medication and meal preparation.
Our ideal candidate would be someone who is calm, patient and confident with implementing boundaries which ensure Myles feels safe. Routine and consistency is very important to Myles as this helps him understand what is happening throughout the day.
As a valued member of our team, your role will involve a mix of meaningful support, from helping with daily routines like food preparation, shopping, and personal care, to accompanying residents as they access the community and pursue their interests. You may also assist with administering medication to ensure their wellbeing.
Hours: 25.5 hours per week
This would be a mixture of shifts between 7am – 10pm, Monday to Sunday.
This role would include alternate weekends and sleep-ins (sleep-ins come with an additional payment).
