We’re looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to join our growing integrated marketing agency in Leeds. This role offers a collaborative environment across paid media, content, social, digital PR and web development.

Role

SEO Strategist – contract & permanent – Leeds, Digital.

As an SEO Strategist, you’ll be a key part of the organic performance team, reporting to the Head of SEO and Performance Director. You’ll take ownership of developing and executing KPI‑driven SEO strategies, monitor performance, and provide insights that help clients succeed.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and implementing SEO strategies with a clear focus on client KPIs
• Conducting topical research and working with content teams to create search‑friendly content
• Monitoring, analysing and reporting on SEO performance using tools like Sistrix, GA4, AHREFS and Looker Studio
• Conducting technical SEO audits and working with internal/external teams to implement improvements
• Performing competitor and SERP analysis to identify opportunities
• Optimising Google Business Profiles and Merchant Feeds
• Keeping up‑to‑date with industry trends, tools, and algorithm updates
• Contributing to the development of business processes and sharing expertise across the team

What they’re looking for

• 3+ years’ experience in SEO, ideally in an agency setting
• Strong knowledge of technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO
• Experience with ecommerce, informational and B2B clients
• Excellent analytical, reporting and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable using and evaluating SEO tools and software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Confident communication skills, including presenting to clients
• Strong time management and planning skills
