Role Overview

PMO Lead – Hybrid (60% office – 40% remote). Locations: Sheffield or Birmingham. Project end date: 27/11/2026. Pay: £396.57 inside IR35. Must work through an umbrella company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead PMO activities for a portfolio of projects, ensuring delivery assurance and stakeholder alignment.
  • Provide business case support and definition.
  • Engage with C‑suite and MD‑level stakeholders within the banking sector.
  • Ask challenging questions to uncover risks and issues.
  • Flag and manage risks, blockers, and escalation items.
  • Produce high‑quality documentation, reports, and dashboards.
  • Communicate complex data and insights to executives.
  • Work efficiently in a fast‑moving, ever‑changing environment.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience managing a small portfolio of projects.
  • Strong Excel skills – VB/Macros and advanced reporting.
  • Excellent presentation and Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyse project data, financial metrics, and resource utilisation.
  • Expertise in creating detailed reports and interactive dashboards.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and project status.
  • Strong stakeholder management – communications with C‑suite stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner for executive audiences.
  • Experience with reporting tools and dashboard development.
  • High expectations for quality and professionalism.
Contract Details

This is a fixed‑term contract ending on 27/11/2026. Pay is £396.57 per day, marked inside IR35. Recruitment will be conducted through an umbrella company.
