Job summary

A global engineering consultancy is seeking a Business Development Manager specialized in Renewables to drive growth across the UK and Ireland. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of renewables experience, proven business development skills, and a track record of exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities include generating new sales, updating the sales pipeline, and leading contract negotiations. This role requires excellent networking abilities and analytical skills, all supported by a competitive compensation package and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience in Renewables such as Solar, Wind, Battery, etc.
  • At least five years in business development and full cycle sales.
  • Strong networking and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical skills for assessing market trends and performances.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales and manage client relationships.
  • Update sales pipeline with new prospects.
  • Negotiate and secure major contracts.
  • Collaborate to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends.
