My client is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to help drive growth in the renewable energy sector. This role is perfect for someone who proactively seeks out opportunities, thrives on building new relationships, and consistently drives deals to completion across the UK market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients or partners.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, developing the outbound pipeline to strengthen revenue streams.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and commercial models tailored to the renewable energy market.

  • Generate leads, convert opportunities, and close deals to meet short- and long-term growth targets.

  • Identify, secure, and manage strategic partnerships to support sustainable revenue and market presence.

  • Monitor industry developments, competitor activity, and policy changes to inform strategic decisions.

  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences, sharing insights and market intelligence with internal teams.

Requirements:
  • Highly motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to actively seek and secure new business opportunities.

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (renewable energy experience preferred).

  • Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
