A veterinary care provider in Peterborough is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their emergency team. This full-time role offers a salary of up to £80,000 DOE, ensuring pets receive the best care outside regular hours. The position involves an average of 40 hours per week, including weekends and bank holidays, with a focus on work-life balance. An exceptional benefits package includes a £1,500 CPD allowance, private medical insurance, and extensive leave. Professional development and coaching are integral to the role.
At Vets Now Peterborough, our committed team of vet surgeons, registered veterinary nurses, animal care assistants and receptionists work hard through the nights, weekends, and bank holidays to ensure sick and injured pets get the very best care when daytime vets are closed. We’re looking for a Vet Surgeon to join our team, on a full-time basis, to provide emergency care when it’s needed the most.
This role consists of working an average of 40 hours per week across weekday nights, weekend days and nights, as well as a share of bank holidays – never working more than three nightshifts in a row. We appreciate that one size doesn’t fit all and are happy to consider part time applicants.
