A leading veterinary care provider in Sheffield is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead a team in a well-established clinic. This full-time role includes ensuring high standards of patient care, managing a large team, and maintaining relationships with veterinary practices. Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience in critical care and proven team management skills. The position comes with generous benefits including private medical insurance and a substantial CPD allowance.
Up to £40,000 DOE plus benefits
Vets Now is the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, serving over 1700 veterinary practices through 60 plus dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. Our Sheffield clinic has been caring for the local community’s pets out-of-hours for over 20 years. The clinic has been accredited by the RCVS as a Small Animal Emergency Service Clinic, which reflects the clinic’s ability to handle emergency and critical care cases without an appointment, so people can be confident their pets are receiving the best care when it matters most.
You will be leader of a large team of vet nurses and clinical support staff in an already well-established clinic. Whilst on clinical shifts you will maintain a high standard of patient care alongside being passionate about developing and coaching your team.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
A full-time role with Vets Now comprises of 40 hours per week. This role will include working as a clinical member of the team on weeknights, 1: qq上 weekends and bank holidays as well as having dedicated time to carry out management duties and attend meetings.
Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
