Job summary

A leading technology company in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Core Network Engineer to lead the design and expansion of their Packet Core. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on engineering or architectural experience, preferably within a Major Network Equipment Provider (NEP) or MVNO/MVNE. Responsibilities include managing ASN and BGP peering, and defining HSS/UDM profiles for efficient data management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on engineering or architectural experience.
• Experience in a Major Network Equipment Provider (NEP) or MVNO/MVNE.
• Ability to handle high-level and low-level design tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and expansion of the Packet Core.
• Design S-NAPTR records for MME/SGSN node discovery.
• Manage ASN and BGP peering for internet connectivity.
• Define HSS/UDM profiles for subscriptions.
• Dimension EPC/5GC nodes for data growth projections.
