We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our team.
This is a part time role.

Laburnum House is situated in Folkestone, Kent, and offers residential support for six males and females who have a primary learning disability diagnosis, including people who are autistic. The home is ideally placed on a residential street near the town centre.
We offer a safe and homely environment, where all the people we care for can make their own choices about the support they receive. We encourage and support everyone at Laburnum House to recognise and identify their goals and ambitions, and we will support them to meet them.

You will be part of a compassionate team committed to the residents’ wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, with a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of our residents and tenants. You will provide support with day‑to‑day activities, encouraging and promoting independent living. You’ll help people reach their potential, through practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.
The role is rewarding but challenging – resilience is key. Your natural empathy will help you support others through highs and lows.
To be eligible for this role you need to hold a Full UK drivers licence.
To be considered for this role, you must have the right to work in the UK.
We want you to succeed at Priory and thrive in your role. You will be well supported with regular career conversations. We also offer full training and numerous pathways into leadership and qualified clinical positions to help you shape your career with us.
