Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business and Infrastructure Manager to play a key leadership role in supporting the delivery of NHS Talking Therapies (NHSTT) across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and strengthen the operational infrastructure of a large, evolving service at a pivotal time. NHSTT is coming together as a single integrated service, bringing together 4 legacy teams. This role will help to harmonise systems, processes and ways of working so that our clinical teams are supported to deliver high-quality, accessible care.

About you

You will have significant experience in business or operational management within a complex organisation, ideally the NHS or public sector. You will be confident leading teams, working across organisational boundaries, and taking ownership of systems, processes and improvement work. Experience of working with large-scale digital systems, service integration or change programmes and financial or resource management will be an advantage.

This role offers the chance to:

Make a real impact on how NHSTT operates and evolves

Play a key role in service integration and system improvement

Contribute to improving efficiency, sustainability and staff experience

Be part of a supportive service committed to inclusion, learning and improvement

If you are looking for a senior operational role combining systems thinking, people leadership and improvement at scale, we would love to hear from you.

Provide operational leadership for administrative and business support functions, including management of administrative team. The role plays a critical part in enabling the service to function as a single, integrated Talking Therapies service following the merger of 4 legacy teams, contributing actively to the service fusion programme by identifying, sharing and embedding best practice.

A key element of the role is acting as a senior operational lead for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system (IAPTUS), supporting Trust-wide implementation as part of a single EPR programme. This includes responsibility for system configuration, backend mapping, data flows, user support, training, and liaison with corporate digital, informatics and information governance teams.

The role works closely with the Head of Operations, Business Performance Manager, Analytics Lead and corporate colleagues to ensure service priorities are delivered, performance is optimised, resources are used efficiently, and continuous improvement is embedded using Quality Improvement (QI) methodology. The postholder will contribute to financial sustainability through cost control, efficiency savings and improved utilisation of estate and resources, while fostering an inclusive, values-led culture within the teams they manage.
