Applies engineering concepts and theories to deliver the development of designs, calculations and technical solutions for Babcock products and services across the Engineering Product Lifecycle. Works independently with occasional supervision, seeking guidance for complex situations. Develops learning, skills and experience within discipline/domain. Provides mentoring to others.

At Cavendish Nuclear we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer, at any of our main Cavendish Nuclear sites.
As an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer (EC&I), you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in supporting safe, compliant and efficient nuclear operations by delivering high-quality EC&I Design outputs—reducing project risks, enabling regulatory approval, and contributing to successful execution of business‑critical programmes.
This is a full‑time role working 37 hours per week. The role can be based at one of Cavendish Nuclear’s key locations including Warrington (Cheshire), Leicester (Leicestershire), Humberside (East Yorkshire), Cumbria (Westlakes), Preston (Lancashire), Newbury (Berkshire) or Bristol. Hybrid working patterns are available, with an expectation of three days per week on site.
