Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience working on DNO substation sites operating from 11–400kV.
• Good understanding of reading and interpreting drawings and documents.
• Training, experience, and qualifications expected for the role as outlined by Omexom.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day work programme for nominated site staff.
• Supervise and assist with construction, maintenance, fitting, and wiring of substation plant and equipment.
• Ensure all construction and demolition work complies with RAMS, lifting plans, drawings, and specifications.

Skills

Ability to take and deliver instructions to undertake tasks safely

Ability to plan, check, and procure materials to maintain efficient team progress

Basic understanding of major substation plant and equipment

High attention to detail

Knowledge of drawing management

Strong computer/tablet literacy

Ability to drive
