A prestigious hotel company in York is seeking an enthusiastic Reservations Agent. Once the famed Headquarters of the North-eastern Railway Company, our magnificent building is bursting with original features and all the grandeur of its former life as the “Palace of Business” - making it a truly beautiful and inspiring place to work and grow.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Reservations Agent to join our friendly office team at The Grand, York, located in the heart of York.
As Reservations Agent, you will interact with our guests via phone and emails, making sure that 5* service is provided since the beginning of their experience at The Grand, York.
As first point of contact for all our guests, you will be responsible for managing reservations for bedrooms, restaurants, spa and our very own Cookery School. You will answer all incoming calls and emails in a timely and efficient manner to ultimately contribute to the hotel’s business targets.
This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours per week. Our current operating hours are 7.30am - 8.30pm Monday-Friday and 7.30am - 7.30pm on Saturday & 8.30am - 7.30pm on Sunday. Weekends are shared on a rota basis.
