A dedicated case management organization in England is seeking a compassionate Nurse Team Leader to support a client with complex care needs. This role requires delivering nursing care in a home setting, leading a team of Support Workers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in complex care, particularly brain injuries. Hours: Full-time - approximately 40-42 hours per week (for example 30 hours care per week and 12 hours admin to be worked flexibly), day shifts available.
Driver required? Essential, to drive Verity's wheelchair adapted vehicle, automatic.
Accommodation (while on duty): Own room with toilet and tea making facilities for sleeping night shifts. Pets: The family have 1 small dog who sleeps in the carers room. Verity is in her mid‑40s and lives independently in her own home with the support of a dedicated team of Support Workers who provide 24‑hour care. She has an acquired brain injury and is looking for a Nurse Team Leader to join her care team. Someone who can bring clinical expertise, warmth, and strong leadership to her daily life and to support her team.
Verity is a vibrant individual with a great sense of humour who enjoys social activities such as quizzes, watching TV and films and planning for special occasions like Christmas and birthdays. She loves going out to the cinema, theatre and shopping, and has her own wheelchair‑accessible vehicle for outings. Whilst Verity does not communicate verbally, she expresses her needs and feelings through body language and facial expressions. Her family and support team play an important role in interpreting these cues to ensure her comfort and wellbeing. Verity is registered blind, so her care team describes her surroundings and activities to keep her fully engaged.

If you are successfully recruited, you will be employed directly by your client or their Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection. However, ILS will manage your day to day employment, providing you with the support you need to carry out your role. Working as a Carer or Support Worker for an ILS client means that you will have a dedicated Case Manager to oversee your client's care needs.
