An airport operations company seeks a Motor Fleet & Workshop Manager at East Midlands Airport. In this critical role, you will manage a fleet of vehicles including snow ploughs and maintenance vehicles, ensuring their upkeep and safety. You’ll lead a team and need strong workshop experience, NVQ Level 3 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent, and leadership skills to thrive. A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, and experience as an HGV inspector is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop environment.
• Experience in leading a team essential.
• Current HGV Inspector with Institute of Road Transport Certificate (IRTEC).
• Hydraulics Stage 1 with CETOP accreditation.
• IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).
• Internal Quality Systems Auditing or equivalent.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.
• HGV and Fork Lift Truck Licence advantageous.
• Ability to remain flexible to overtime demands.
• Good communication skills both written and oral.
• Microsoft Office IT Literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage operational fleet of vehicles at East Midlands Airport.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, testing and servicing of vehicles.
• Allocate work to team members and ensure health & safety compliance.
