My client is seeking a highly motivated and talented BIM Coordinator to join their dynamic studio environment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM coordination across multiple projects, liaising with client BIM representatives and external consultants
- Organise, configure, and maintain BIM project environments, managing model production and content creation
- Carry out model federation, coordination reviews, audits, clash detection, and reporting
- Prepare and issue BIM files in line with project and industry standards
- Monitor and report on model progress, quality, coordination status, and data integrity
- Manage BIM project resources, budgets, and programmes, ensuring plans are maintained and ready for review meetings
- Respond to BIM-related queries from both internal and external project teams
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, content libraries, and workflows to improve efficiency and project outcomes
- Support integration of COBie, Uniclass, and specification metadata within model data
- Deliver training in BIM software and best practice processes
- Delegate responsibilities effectively within the team
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across projects
- Ensure BIM activities meet statutory requirements, quality standards, health & safety regulations, environmental policies, and duty‑of‑care obligations
- Contribute confidently to presentations and discussions around emerging ideas and digital innovation
- Assist in developing and managing project programmes
Skills & Experience Required
- RIBA Part 1 (2:1 or above) or ARB/RIBA Part 1 equivalent or CIAT-accredited Architectural Technology degree (2:1 or above)
- Strong understanding of architectural processes and technical delivery requirements
- Proven experience in a CAD and BIM coordination role
- Demonstrated experience delivering BIM training
- High proficiency in Revit and BIM collaboration tools
- Experience managing BIM documentation and structured data standards
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent verbal, visual, and sketch communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to contribute to the ongoing growth and success of the studio
