A high-growth technology company in Wallingford seeks a Financial Operations Lead to build and scale finance operations. The role involves implementing financial workflows, managing complex change programs, and driving process improvements within the team. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in finance operations and a strong understanding of financial processes. We are looking for a Financial Operations Lead to scale the company’s financial operations during a pivotal phase of growth. This role is responsible for building robust, scalable, and well-controlled finance operations; covering core processes, systems, and tooling across the business. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role works cross-functionally with the wider senior leadership team to design and implement best-in-class financial workflows and internal tools, while ensuring the business can scale without adding unnecessary friction.
This is a rare opportunity to operate at a senior level in a fast-scaling, category-defining company that has just raised a $165m Series C. You will be trusted to build the financial operating backbone of a high-growth company from the inside out. You’ll have real ownership over how finance works day-to-day, from tooling decisions to process design, and the mandate to modernise and automate at scale.
This role will involve at least one day a week onsite at our Wallingford facility. Because of this, any applicant to be considered must be based in the UK and have full right to work in the UK.
