A leading sportswear retailer in Rochdale is seeking an Assistant Security Controller. This position involves monitoring security at our 24hr Gyms, managing alarms, and supervising CCTV operations across all sites. The ideal candidate should have experience in the security industry and possess strong communication and computer skills. Responsibilities include responding to alarm activations, liaising with police, preparing reports, and adhering to health and safety protocols. Qualifications

• Experience of working to health and safety requirements.
• Excellent computer literacy skills as all information is recorded on databases.
• Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Communicates effectively both written and oral.
• Experience of working in the security industry / Alarm Receiving Centre is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deal with alarm activations efficiently and update relevant stakeholders.
• Liaise with Police/fire regarding alarm activations.
• Monitor CCTV in stores and report issues.
• Prepare and send nightly reports on issues.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety guidelines.
