Job summary

An Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation is looking for a Senior Coordinator for Fundraising and Resources.   • Position : Fixed Term, Full time, till end of January 2027 (Maternity Leave Coverage Position)
  • Location : Preston, Hybrid
  • Salary : 105,000 - 108,000, plus super and salary packaging is available

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, OCEO you will be tasked to drive increased income from peer-to-peer fundraising events and manage VACCA Resources shop.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies across multiple channels
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations, and corporate partners
  • Coordinate grant applications and manage reporting requirements
  • Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns
  • Collaborate with program teams to identify funding opportunities
  • Prepare compelling funding proposals and donor communications
About You
  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably in community services or not-for-profit sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with grant writing and donor relationship management
  • Understanding of Aboriginal community priorities and cultural protocols
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience working or volunteering in an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation would be highly regarded.
  • Requirements: Valid Police Check, aWorking with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and aVictorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination(Strongly Recommended)
