Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our team at CH. You will provide a high-quality, professional and results focussed HR service to Bluecoat Sports and employee relations support to Christ’s Hospital with the support of the HR Development Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Be a first point of HR contact for BCS employees (c.160 employees) and support the BCS management team with HR-related matters including recruitment.
  • Support Christ’s Hospital with ensuring best practice in employee relations matters and champion fair and consistent practices across the School.
  • Deliver effective and appropriate HR interventions on early and formal stages of ER issues including disciplinary, grievance, bullying & harassment, capability and absence cases, reducing the need for formal procedures.
  • Where required, provide support on change management programmes.
Qualifications & experience
  • Proven experience in an HR advisory or generalist HR role with strong employee relations skills.
  • Good working knowledge of current employment law and its application in the workplace.
  • Experience in education or leisure centre is desirable, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to build stakeholder relationships at all levels.
Employment details
  • Permanent, full time (35 hours per week), year-round position.
