Sir Bobby Robson School is seeking a Teacher of Music and Creative Digital Technologies to help lead the next phase of their music curriculum offer. This is an exciting opportunity to join SBRS, a specialist SEMH school within the Unity Schools Partnership. At SBRS, we are creating something truly special and we are looking for a passionate Teacher of Music and Creative Technologies to help us as we move forward. As a small SEMH school with classes of just 6 to 8 pupils supported by both a teacher and a TA, we know the profound impact that music, creativity and technology can have on our learners.

You will bring strong classroom expertise, the ability to build trusting relationships, and a passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs to flourish socially, emotionally and academically. You will combine confident subject knowledge with the creativity to design engaging, practical learning experiences that help pupils regulate, communicate and express themselves. Above all, you will be driven by the belief that every child deserves access to rich cultural experiences, high‑quality teaching and opportunities that expand your sense of possibility.
Sir Bobby Robson School educates young people aged 8–16 with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs; some pupils also have additional needs including autism and may present with challenging behaviours. The school serves Ipswich and the surrounding areas of Suffolk and is part of Unity Schools Partnership’s network of special schools. As a small SEMH school, our classes typically include 6 to 8 pupils supported by both a teacher and a TA, enabling close relationships, personalised learning and meaningful emotional support.
