Overview
Teacher of Music — MPS/UPS - Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience. Start date: September 2026. 0.4 FTE (this role could be offered on a full-time basis for a suitable candidate willing to teach a second subject).
The Forest School is excited to recruit a qualified Teacher of Music who will contribute to a vibrant and high-expectation culture within the department and school community.
Responsibilities
- Teach across all Key Stages with the ability to raise attainment by motivating and engaging students; contribute to a culture of high expectations and achievement within the department and the wider school community.
- Join a supportive and motivated team and contribute to the rich and enhanced curriculum model.
Qualifications and requirements
- Qualified Teacher of Music; ability to teach across all Key Stages; option to teach a second subject for a full-time position.
- Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of students; willingness to undergo Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service clearance.
- Complete the attached Teachers Application Form; CVs will not be accepted. The school may perform online searches on shortlisted candidates.
