A local council in Towcester is looking for an experienced Town Clerk to act as the Head of Paid Service and Proper Officer. This position involves ensuring efficient administration of council business, leading operations and strategic direction, and managing compliance with legislation. The ideal candidate will bring experience in local government, have strong leadership qualities, and be CiLCA qualified. A relocation package may be available for the right candidate.
Salary: SCP 46 - SCP 54 (£58,523 to £72,307) depending on skills and experience.
Hours: 37 per week with evening meetings and weekend work, as required.
Location: Towcester. Relocation package may be available for the right candidate.
