A global technology leader in electrification is looking for an Installation Manager. You will lead a team responsible for installations and testing of high voltage electrical and mechanical equipment. The role is site-based, initially in Germany for 24 months, with travel required for future projects. You will be leading a team of installation experts, being responsible for the installation and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment procured and delivered by Hitachi Energy. To perform the works under your responsibility, you and the rest of the installation team will manage subcontractors performing the works. You as Installation Manager would be responsible to plan, coordinate and manage the Hitachi Energy team at your disposal to assure project targets and milestones related to safety, quality, time schedule and budget are met.
This role is site based, with travel included. The first project assignment would be based in Germany in Wilster, Schleswig-Holstein which is part of the Suedlink DC4 project, for approximately 24 months. After this project is completed, we have future projects in Germany and there are also global opportunities. Therefore, any candidate applying for this role, would need to be willing to travel.
