Job summary

A leading Insurance Broker is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. The successful candidate will support Account Executives while ensuring high service standards and regulatory compliance. This role offers excellent career progression opportunities within a well-established brokerage. The position requires strong technical understanding of commercial insurance products and the ability to build long-term client relationships, along with effective communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience within Commercial Insurance, ideally in an insurance brokerage.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Handle policies from inception, renewal, and mid-term adjustments.
  • Support Account Executives with renewals and new business.
  • Liaise with insurers to obtain competitive terms and negotiate.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and maintain documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.

Skills

Strong technical understanding of commercial insurance products and markets
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Attention to detail

Education

Cert CII minimum preferred; ACII desirable
